Decision of Nomination
Application approved, the applicant receives a Nomination Certificate to support their PR application to IRCC, valid for up to 6 months.
PR submission
Maintain the conditions of nomination, attach Nomination Certificate to the PR application, and then submit them to IRCC.IRCC reviews in 15 - 19 months
Get PR Status
Application approved, the applicant gets Permanent Resident status after landing or confirming on IRCC Portal.Confirmation valid within 12 months
Profile submission
Create expression of interest profile with The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism when minimum requirements are met.

Provincial invitation
Depending on allocation quota, candidates with the highest EOI scores in the pool will be invited to submit the nomination application.

Applicant with work permit expiring within 180 days, who had submitted PR application to IRCC and is maintaining the conditions of nomination may be eligible to receive a work permit support letter from the province to renew their work permit.

- Employer has intentionally misrepresented information about potential job offer
- Job offer for contract, seasonal, part-time, or short-term position or pay in cash or commission
- Home-based or remote work
Basic requirements
- Have a post-graduation work permit that is valid for more than 4 months at the time of application
- Intend and have the ability to live permanently in Newfoundland & Labrador
- Between 21 to 59 years old
Education
- Have graduated 1-year post-secondary program (college, university, trade school)
- Foreign education credential(s) must be assessed by Educational Credential Assessment
- Licence to practice or membership in the provincial regulatory bodies, if working in regulated occupations
Work experience
- At least 1-year of full-time work experience when submitting the application, if graduated outside of the province
Job offer
- At least 1 year or longer with the possibility of extension, in-demand occupations, under TEER category 0, 1, 2, 3 from an eligible employer
- Relate to field of study if studied outside of the province
- Require post-secondary education, have potential for advancement, relate to work experience or prior training, if not relate to field of study in the province

Minimum CLB 4, assessed by 1 of 4 language proficiency tests within the last 2 years:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) General Training
- Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP-General)

- Operate at least 2 consecutive years
- Employ 2 permanent, full-time local employees if the business located within St. John’s area, or 1 if outside

- Fully comply with federal and provincial laws and regulations in employment, labor, immigration
- Demonstrate enough efforts of hiring Canadian or Permanent Residents before offering the position
- Will be invited to an interview with PNP Specialist to verify documents
